My Grace is Sufficient for You

My grace is sufficient! Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, tokeep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me — to keep me from exalting myself! The Holy Spirit A B Simpson Chapter 13 – The Holy Spirit in Second Corinthians 1. THE ANOINTING. "He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God." The figure of anointing runs through all the Scriptures, and it is crystalized in the very name of Christ and Christian. Christ means the Anointed One, and the Christian is the Christ-one, or the one that has been anointed with the Holy Ghost. We see it in all the ceremonies of the Old Testament. Especially was it employed in the setting apart of the three great officials of the Old Testament; the prophet, the priest, and the king.
